Forecast is for some heavy rain this evening and again during racing, ground could be heavy by the time of the race. I couldn't back a horse on the back of an injury and a 400+ day lay off in heavy ground. If I was to have a bet it will be on Reve De Sivola.

will be the most fascinating market of this jumps season so far tomorrow, will the layers push him out to 6/4 or will the backers force him down to 4/6. will be watching without a financial interest.

Forecast I am looking at is rain tonight but no rain until after 17:00 tomorrow. Agree if the ground is heavy tomorrow it does change things so perhaps wait and see.
If it hits a flat spot, is it the normal, or is the horse gone.
If it gets beats heavily tomorrow could well be its last race.

Backed 2nd and 3rd in market. Been too many from the Nicholls stable running below par lately and think it will get beat.

LAYV - Trains laying all over the roads and paths here in Cheltenham. Whatever the result, if they don't go slow early, it could drag the guts out of all these horses, and finish their Festival prospects.

Trade approach, Lay to Back. Lay around 2.2 for £400, put up 2.7 in the run to back for £325. £70 Green Screen. He's always hit a flat spot in his races, and after the lay off and all that, as soon as he hits the flat spot this time,the likelihood he will drift out more than he should because this time in running layers won't be able to resist and won't be fully confident of him coming back on the bit again late on.
He will probably win and I don't think Nicholls would have brought him back to Cheltenham first up if he wasn't expecting him to perform, but he always hits that flat spot in his races and whilst a lot of times in the past, he hasn't moved too much when he does in running, I do feel given the question marks surrounding him he probably will hit around the 2.7 / 2.8 mark in the run.

I shall have a small E.W. Knockara Beau to watch.............its been running well & wants every yard..............If theres any "folding up" late on with going or fitness.......I cant see that with this horse

Well as expected a complete cross section of opposing views . Its going to be fascinating to watch the race live and the in running market . Could easily go to 2/1 or higher in running . You got the impression on the Morning Line that Nicholls is only 95% happy with the horse and may be a vital gallop short . So perhaps even a PLACE LAY might be the answer ? Possible biggish return for not a big layout ?

What a race BB ran . went to 1-4 in running . But the winner went to 1000-1 in running . Who got it and who laid it / Ouch !

But it was perhaps a distinct possibility for BB to get overtaken on the long slog of a run in . With hindsight we would all be MILLIONAIRES RODNEY !

shame for BB fans for the horse to lose its unbeaten run like that , cant remember it ever leading that far out before ,I,l let the experts decide on the tactics today but all in all I think the horse ran a cracker after the lay off and on that ground , will be a punt for me at Chelt but my money was on AFC today so I was gutted twice lol
