It doesn't make sense really that he has been sent to prison. what about the naked bike ride with everyone going through central London bollock naked every year and no one gets arrested. what makes that ok and him naked in public illegal? surely the law is the same for everyone.

Report ebulGery June 19, 2013 10:46 PM BST
you have a point AG..

However his behaviour is extreme...most people would consider his behaviour wrong or at least a gross
violation of any notion of public decency.
But, as it appears, he does not see he is doing wrong himself, but sees himself as right....therefore he must be insane
Insanity is defines as the inability of an individual to distinguish right from wrong
they no awareness of it...which he has not in this one respect

He cant be left to wander naked everywhere, he would cause riots, he himself would in danger.
Maybe he is happiest in prison. But he has done nothing wrong.
I feel sorry for him. I think is a harmless soul...but 'mad' he is, and should be treated as such
with care and compassion.
although I fear the world we live in now...is not far off being 'mad' itself
as you have said yourself Angel
Report Angel Gabrial June 19, 2013 11:03 PM BST
The problem is God elbulGery, or that aspect where we have distanced ourselves from the other creatures on the planet due to the idea of creationism before Darwin.

Long before Darwin came along we had already programmed ourselves that we wear clothes especially in colder climates but in warmer climates it is still acceptable by the tribal to be naked.

Then Darwin suggested we are not God like we are animal like and today we understand all the DNA lineage linking us all the way back through animal evolution.

Stephen Gough is not insane but making a stubborn stance because he believes strongly a man should be able to walk naked on this earth. He is actually a visionary. He does not want to wage war while our leaders do, who is insane again?
Report ebulGery June 19, 2013 11:12 PM BST
the M'Naghten rules defines legal insanity I think

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M%27Naghten_Rules

He tried to kill the Prime minister, and in fact killed his secretary,
because he believed The Prime Minister was conducting a personal war against him

But would he get away with it today.Confused Because a large part of our population
believe David Cameron is conducting a personal war on them, especially the less well off in our society.
So in fact not wanting to shoot the Prime Minister is the act of insanity
Catch 22Wink
Report ebulGery June 19, 2013 11:19 PM BST
I know you are a kind man Angel

But your view is just too distanced from any idea of public decency for me

I believe Stephen Gough is insane

But he should not be punished, he needs help, but he must be confined....
so if he must be in prison, so be it...he must always be treated with care and compassion
as he himself cannot see the problem with his behaviour...he is 'mad'

we shall have to agree to disagreeHappy

Women complain about not being to show themselves in public yes

but they would not in the main go for full nudity, because they do not want to see the male member

Its all down to social programming, generally the body beautiful are comfortable naked in public,

yet the majority of humans are not body beautiful, if we all walked around naked there would be less sexual attraction

than if we were dressed to impress, i think it`s the way forward, lets get back to nature..with our laptops of course!

from a purely aesthetic point of view

humans are quite ugly compared to most mammals, having no fur, hair or feathers.

so wearing clothes covers our innate 'ugliness'(and keeps us warm)

something women forget nowadays, often that which is concealed is more

alluring than that which is revealed
Report ebulGery June 20, 2013 1:28 AM BST

There should be a national rating system for women.

Younthen have to dress accordingly to it.

8/10 or above can dress scantily no one else.
Report lmfao June 20, 2013 7:45 AM BST
So- we ban nakedness?
OK- what about banning red lipstick?

Google the reason women wear red lipstick and you'll find something like the following:

As we all know,(MoneyTree excepted) when a woman is sexually aroused, her vulva enlarges and becomes reddish as a result of becoming engorged with blood - needless to say this is a very stimulating, exciting and sexy sight for her partner. When this is coupled with her vaginal secretions, the effect is irresistible. This is what lipstick is all about, all the more so when her lips appear to be moist.

Try not to choke on your cornflakes.....Silly

Angel G - i thought from reading about him elsewhere that he travelled all over the UK naked. I didn't realise that sometimes he was prepared to wear clothes, eg in prison i think he is also naked. Yes if he is prepared to wear clothes - say on the Clapham omnibus, then jailing him is even more ridiculous than I originally thought.

Nothing should stand in the way of natures beard, being forced to shave is another constraint by society, we are well and truly programmed just to fit into the system. We are just a product.

Report Angel Gabrial June 20, 2013 9:23 AM BST
MJ

We can non conform to a certain degree, grow our beards together and always be aware of our common law and challenge the corporations who ignore it until we voice it. Corporations do not like resistance because they are so used to people(sheeple) just rolling over and accepting it because sheeple don`t like causing a fuss. More social  programming.

I don`t know much about his social situations. I have always had the impression he does not socialise beyond his his naturist activities and has not really had much chance recently to get out and about.

Though left to his own devices does he use his own personal transport to travel long distance or does he ramble and rough it haha..not sure if he would dress up for his kids graduation for example. How far does the activism go? but i do think he will carry on fighting the system for a few more years.
