Hoof It will be ridden by Ryan Moore for the first time tomorrow at the request of his owners, golfer Lee Westwood and his agent, Andrew 'Chubby' Chandler.

I thought the question would be as simple to answer on this esteemed experts forum as say a Prostitutes Forum asking what the action was like at Kings X, but obviously not. I will just assume that he's keeping Fanshawe sweet.

Thank you Facts, took so long to write my second bit. Interesting, thought they got on well last year - the horse and jock that is.
Report adge May 16, 2012 10:05 AM BST
clearly you have a good knowledge of the kings cross area
Report Duvauchelle May 16, 2012 1:20 PM BST
how very dare you sirLaugh
Report Aviboyd May 16, 2012 1:21 PM BST
They wanted a jockey who could ride the horse all year.  Cumani has a couple of horses that will be contesting the same races as Hoof It and Fellon will be required to ride those.

another sound piece of info, thank you aviboyd

20 runner handicap at york and fallon hasn't got a ride...

sign of the times tbh...

he should just jack it in imv.

not getting any decent rides any more...
Report HappyHibby May 16, 2012 3:30 PM BST
19 runner handicap...no FALLON mount.
Report robo May 16, 2012 4:03 PM BST
They more than likely wanted to be certain that their jockey would definitely be trying. These are busy people and didnt need the unnecessary worry whether this low life was going to pull a stroke on them,so they replaced him with Moore. Its perfectly understandable really, because if Fallon rides til he's a 100,nobody involved in racing could ever really trust him.
Report HappyHibby May 16, 2012 4:04 PM BST
so you're not a fan robo...?

Im being serious though,Lee Westwood is at the top of his proffession in a game played and supported by people in the higher echelons of society. They wont want to have anything to do with a little urchin like Fallon who in no way could ever be really trusted. He has more baggage than British Airways,id fancy they wouldnt even want to have to converse with the little thing not to mind actually employ him.
Report carrot1960 May 16, 2012 4:16 PM BST
terry norman fallons  former agent said on timeform radio it was the trainer who did not want him to ride the horse
Report HappyHibby May 16, 2012 4:20 PM BST
if they wanted nowt to do with fallon why did they let him ride the horse on numerous occasions robo...?
Report robo May 16, 2012 4:27 PM BST
Everybody is entitled to make mistakes happyhibby,at least they have rectified them.I can only imagine that Westwood and Chandler have better things to do than worry who rides their horses, its highly likely that one of their associates may have put them straight regarding Fallon, hence the cessation of any future employment.Anyway the little thing is no good anyway,he still managed to worm his way on to the best horse on the day and threw the race away.
Report HappyHibby May 16, 2012 4:29 PM BST
ascot will be the aim for that horse robo.

just a warm up today i think...
Report robo May 16, 2012 4:37 PM BST
I always think that one of the great British ironies is Royal ascot itself.Inside in the enclosure is the very highest members of british society, out on the racecourse some of the non equine stars of the show are really the most vile creatures and lower than a snails belly.
Report HappyHibby May 16, 2012 4:41 PM BST
some inside the enclosure could be described as vile creatures as well tbh...
Report flyingbolt May 16, 2012 4:42 PM BST
What a miserable wretch you appear to be,robo.
Report ima_mazed66 May 16, 2012 8:48 PM BST
I think you should start all of your posts with once upon a time robo.

Perhaps you could list the horses Fallon has pulled in group races (or any for that matter) and he presumably must have c0cked up when winning 4 times on Hoof It from his last 6 rides, including big handicaps at Doncaster, York and Goodwood.

The horse has only won 8 times from 19 starts before today and Fallon won on 4 of them. It's also won £190k in win prize money with around £137k of that when ridden by Fallon but why let a few facts get in the way of a (non) story eh robo?

Oh and by the way, did Ryan Moore pull the horse today then?
