It's the same guy that trained Market Mover. Can definitely do a dog and wouldn't rule out Berrt in Bert. Switch from Kelly hasn't done him any harm at all.

I must say i had serious doubts when he took the dog off Kelly Findlay as i didn't know anything about him. However he obviously knows what he is doing and well done to him.

agree with PF....i made an assumption he was just a greedy owner who had a live contender but did not want to chop the prizemoney with the trainer....but he comes across as genuine and the dog ran very well last night....first time he did not look vunerable off the last....

I admit the dog has gone further in the competition than I thought he would, fair play to the owner

The stories about him where all over greyhoundscene when Kelly Findlay posted the links to them. I've no idea what he is like as a person as i don't know him. However as someone who had backed Bert to win the Derby i was not too happy when i heard he had taken the dog off Kelly and had all but felt his chance was gone. The man has done a fine job in training the dog to get this far so fair dues to him.

any chance we can get bert taken out after this

apparently got abusive with findley n all,hence why she told him to take dog away,seems to have plenty of fans on scene tho so perhaps hes misunderstood.

i also thought it was an arrogant nutcase owner which coupled with the above asbo line story made me wonder what the fcuk is he on, but i hold my hands up, got the dog coming along lovely, done tremendous with it, fair play i was wrong.

irishone read the newspaper report , he terrorised a family for over 10 years and the previous family that had been his neighbour for 11 years , this was gross harrassment of the worst possible kind he made these peoples lives a misery , i may also add you dont get 3 years  ( which he got ) for nothing , hes a bully and the quicker he disappears from our sport the better, oh and before you start saying hes a great dog trainer, peter sutcliffe was a fine lorry driver by all accounts

For all we know he could of been living next door 24hrs a day curry pot or a music lover playing iron lion Zion all nite long or poor folk having there sweet 16 getting piped all nite long while the old get there rocks off to super t! We all go nuts from time to time!

also agree with patrick's post, man does my nut in to be fair, comes across incredibly arrogant and snipes here and there, the last one was a few weeks ago about not knowing where people should seed their dogs.

steve taylors views on seeding are simple taylors sky is a railer and every other dog in training is middle or wide

Everything came out when he took dog away from Kelly man dun his time let him get on with training Bert

got to give him credit sometimes owners know more then trainers
