I've been following City since i was a kid and nobody wants them to win more than me. My brother-in-law is a big red and not that long ago he said to me: "What does City stand for?" His answer: Conference in 2 years, and it could have been. We have been tormented by United's success and the gloating fans, now the tables are turning and i can hear the death knoll ringing for United with Glazer creaming off profits and no cash for top class players, they will be on a slippery slope next year. It would be gut-wrenching for me to even be granted a free bet on United!

Arsenal flattered to deceive as usual

Chelsea out of sortsCry

Mancini will need the Jodrell Bank telescope to see how far they are away from Champions League standard.

Can I remind you that neither City nor United even got out of the group stages.

Gosh Frank, dunno about Blue Moon but Many Moons ago!
Report frank60 May 15, 2012 3:39 PM BST
JUST CHECKING ON THE ORGINS OF THE SONG WOOD,.............The lyrics presumably refer to an English idiomatic expression: "once in a blue moon" means "very rarely". (The origin of the expression is unclear; see article "blue moon"). The narrator of the song is relating a stroke of luck so unlikely that it must have taken place under a blue moon. The title relies on a play on words, since blue is also the colour of melancholy, and indeed the narrator is sad and lonely until he finds love.       SEEMS City had a stroke of luck in the last few mins... good luck to them ..change is a good thing even if it took 100millon + TO DO IT. Happy
