Report spudmurphy February 20, 2010 11:03 AM GMT
Top of Stow judge list is the best has not got 60 plus dogs like the rest only has about 20 and thats why he gets the results.
Report born a winner February 20, 2010 11:56 AM GMT
are there really 30+ trainers at a bags track??
Report Stow_judge February 20, 2010 12:01 PM GMT
no, the ones with less than 500 runners in the above list would be open racers from other tracks
Report Stow_judge February 20, 2010 12:03 PM GMT
or maybe not. Those with 750 runners. Data is from the start of 2008

Ray Jones and Kevin Hutton have always been regarded as the best at Swindon.

So which trainer did you opt for Elsworthfan? And how did things go?
Report BurroughHillLad May 15, 2012 9:56 PM BST
Anyone else have any opinions on Swindon trainers? This thread has been inactive for over 2 years so maybe there are some more up-to-date views... A post above mentioned Ray Jones having fewer dogs/runners and suggested that maybe they get more individual attention which pays off at the track. What about locality of the kennels? Will your dog run less often if it 'lives' an hour's drive away as opposed to 10-15 mins?
Report Czechbet May 15, 2012 10:25 PM BST
still Kevin Hutton for me, done very well since the original post on the open scene, got a 700 quid dog to a St Leger final says alot
Report BurroughHillLad May 18, 2012 10:37 AM BST
Anyone had any dogs with PR Foster? Record looks impressive in the above list.
Report swindon sammy May 18, 2012 1:56 PM BST
Huttons your man, well in with the management, dont bother with the smaller trainers they get treated like something you stepped inCool
Report patrick starr May 18, 2012 2:22 PM BST
huttons well in with the management?

Its probably cos the dogs are run straight and maintain their form well as a result that he has the best figures at the track.
Report patrick starr May 18, 2012 2:25 PM BST
also, hutton must be well in with hove and oxford management judging by the number of open race wins he has there, must have some fkin tongue on him to work the arsh0le of 3 racing offices,no wonder his mrs is always smiling.

sammy must be jealous his ring aint getting a rimming.
Report patrick starr May 18, 2012 2:34 PM BST

Last time I saw Paul, he had Micky Lawlor working with him - two for the price of one, and they can both do a dog!
Report BurroughHillLad May 19, 2012 12:08 AM BST
Going by the stats above, seems like a relatively small number of dogs at his kennels
