The bar saved CHELSEA .......Sometime you need that bit of LUCK....and BARCA never got it on that match.
They did look jaded ....no surprise the number of games they have to play, and fact they had to take on REAL MADRID days before taking on CHELSEA just made their task harder.
CHELSEA conserved their energy level well BEFORE the BARCA match....and that probably made a difference to outcome.
CHELSEA were generally "boring" ......however, they stuck to game plan and BARCA never adapted to circumstances, relying on the short pass method of breaking through defences.....a bit of variety was missing in their play.
CHELSEA only had 10 men......but that is probably why they never got beat in 2nd leg. They were fully focused and on balance deserved the LUCK they got.
Perhaps BARCA and coach do need a change, as it might do both some good !
