Like all players I have bickered with my coaches. But at a certain point men who do not understand each other reconcile. This is not possible with Pep, who is very rigid. The other players will never admit it publicly but some have already told me that they ended up hating him. Because he manipulates and plays a lot with your head.”
Touré added: “I think I was dealing with someone who just wanted revenge on me. I do not know why but I have the impression that he was jealous of me, that he took me for a rival. There you have it. We always looked at each other weirdly. He was spinning around me without saying anything, watching me, gauging me but not talking to me. Yet he knows that I speak Catalan, Spanish and English. It should be enough to communicate. But apparently no ... Every time we passed each other, he seemed embarrassed. As if I made him a little self-conscious. As if, also, he had understood that I knew him perfectly.”

Anybody that doesn't regard Guardiola as likely the best coach on the planet right now doesn't have a clue. Zidane didn't get close to La Liga in two of the three seasons, and it could be argued the only reason they won it under him was because Luis Enrique had gone stale. Winning the Champions Leagues is a hell of an achievement, but if you want to scrutinize: first one on penalties, second against an average Juventus, and the third win was a joke
That article says reflects worse on Toure than Pep. The guy wins the league playing the best football but he's a fraud....well I'll take that fraud any day of the week over the non frauds left trailing in his wake.

Generous of Yaya to offer Pep a cake if he picks 5 Africans...as it happens he has picked 4 in a Champions League game. Wonder why Yaya signed a contract last year if he was so disgruntled with Pep (££££££££££££££££££££££££££££). Before the Champions League formed in 92, teams in Europe were winning back to back European Cups on a regular basis, some of them 3 times in a row, after 92, none of the great European could manage it because it was too difficult, more games, higher quality opposition from 2nd/3rd and eventually 4th placed teams from the superior leagues rather than just pub champions from pub leagues, that was until Zidane and his Real Madrid team won 2 CL in row then 3. The AC Milan teams of 90's couldn't do it, the treble winning United team couldn't do it, the Galatico's couldn't do it and neither could Pep's Barcelona or any of Jose's Chelsea teams that spunked billions on players.
That's how hard it is to win successive Champions League titles, you are play the creme de la creme from the KO stages at least - whereas in La Liga, realistically Barcelona have 1 team to contend with 8 or 9 seasons out of 10, when Simeone leaves it will revert just to the same old duopoly it always was.
Trying to beat off competition from 1 team in your domestic league compared to having to get through teams like Bayern, PSG and Juventus is a whole different ball game, the CL is far harder to win. I've no idea who people so readily give praise to Barca for trouncing their league when they buy players for £100 mil, £150 mil on a wim, in the CL they meet teams that do the same and they can't sustain that success - Zidane did.

I always find it really odd how some people become so obsessed in proving that a manager, despite many trophies is rubbish.

They outspend teams in La Liga bar Madrid so they've realistically have 1 challenger more often than not. CL is more difficult because the standard is far higher in general and teams have more money to spend than in La Liga which is why Zidane has proven to be a better manager than Pep.

He is a good manager obviously in the way he coaches his players to play football but he is vastly overrated based upon the fact he has had the easiest of rides in football management, walking into a Barca team that had the calibre of players they did, the year before they had regressed under Rijkaard but he already lost his way and anyone coming into that job with the likes of Messi, Henry, Xavi, Iniesta and Eto'o would have found it more difficult to fail than succeed once they got rid of the likes of Ronaldinho who was a shadow of his former self. Then he takes over the treble winning European Champions and takes them backwards, not 1 CL final in 3 years let alone a win, in the Bundesliga he Heynecks in his last season his team had 98 goals, 91 points and +80 GD, in Pep's 3 season he never once bettered that, then he takes over the richest in the world, buys defenders for 50 million a pop and wins the title and everyone is supposed to impressed?

So on that basis Zidane winning the Champions League with Real Madrid isn't much to cheer about
Real winning the CL 2/3 times in a row which is the hardest football competition there is, is impressive, it's less impressive to win La Liga, but with second tier teams in certain leagues, such as Marseille who are far outspent by PSG, or Valencia in La liga, winning titles with them over the big spending clubs in their leagues is impressive, obv even more impressive if you can then win the CL.
