Busquets and Alves probably go too fay, but most Barca players dont go oeverboard on diving etc - against Real they simply HAD to exaggerate the extent of the fouls a couple of seasons ago, cos Reals gameplan one match was simply to kick the livings hit out of them, and the ref was too weak to do anything about it - it was a way of making the ref finally take action against the terrible treatment they were receiving on the night.

Well in my opinion, Real easily match Barca in terms of play acting and diving. But their tackling is more cynical (in the way that they consistently try to bring down and trip Messi) and done with more intent to do damage, and just far more frequent.

I guess as a product of Barcas 60-40 possession dominance you are going to see more dives from Barca and more tackles from Real. But every El Clasico ive watched Real in the last 9 months (not all of the, granted) should have had at least 2 players red carded. I dont want to have to go back and pick out every individual incident but surely their must be people that agree.

I am not calling Barca a clean or fair playing team, far from it
