I saw a scene at the cinema this weekend that just about tops the lot of them...the beach scene from "under the skin"...absolutely heartbreaking.

Not seen them but the Champ and Shane both have sad endings so could be in there

a lot of the above are very memorable, but I wouldn't class them as particularly disturbing

Can't recall the name of the film, only 3 people in it, and one of those was a child who died near the start. 

Near the end the woman cuts off her clitoris with a pair of scissors.

It was on Film4 a few weeks ago.

Come and See was disturbing from beginning to end however the nazis burning the barn topped the lot.
