One day at Cheltenham, the Thomas Pink meeting not the festival I had Alex Hammond and Zara Phillips either side of me in the pouring rain queuing for a coffee or it might have been for the hog roast stall or maybe the bar I can't rememeber exactly. Anyway, Alex was by far the better looking of the two, both having extremely similar physiques. Although Zara had slightly bigger thruppenies to be fair.

Agree Slippy, but Zara scores a much higher reading on my filthoscope.

Saw Alex in bar in Cheltenham cracking on with a couple of absolute drippy Harry Potter lookalikes a few years back Plain

twice it's happened to me. precipitation was imminent on both occasions (so not sure if it counts).

the first time was with Annie Lennox (at Cambridge's bus station), and the second was with Ian Astbury of The Cult (at Headingley cricket ground).

You complete and utter **** good value losers Angry, you know full well I adore K.K. Love

I love Richmond as well by the way, I used to host regular exhibitions in the Richmond Hill Hotel years ago. The view over the park from there is something else.

hee hee

the richmond hill hotel? you must mean the view over the river and petersham meadow looking west. can't recall a view over the park from there. that is one of the great views, spent many an evening up there. loved to watch the lights of the planes flying into and out of heathrow.

just recently was standing in the doorway of my local waiting for a heavy downpour to stop, and was joined by vintage actor Bernard Hepton.
Really nice old fellah. Anyone remember him? I note from his Wiki page that he's from Bradford so may very well be known by kenny man or mitch downie.

Stood beside Gay Kindersley in the rain at the Melbourne Cup a while back. She ain't famous here, but she's the Aussie equivalent of Jennie Pitman.
