" snaffles " charles- johnson - payne  was initially a war artist who after the 1st world war ended painted racing hunting and military scenes in watercolour and prints , i bought several of his work at a carboot for buttons some framed and glazed and many unframed ,theyb are of racing scenes national hunt from the 1920s, i am donating as a prize for the winner of the comp "the canal turn ,grand national print"  the print is on quality thick carded art paper and has the artists signature and blindstamp ,you can see examples of his work by typing in snaffles art in google .. i will pay postage to the uk for the winner good luck all.
