Welcome back to all the team. You have two days to get rid of all your losers and then after that I am expecting a flurry of winners from all team mebers. I know we have sometimes flattered to deceive previously but surely this is the time for us to shine and take our place at the top of the podium. I will leave it to each member to devise their own strategy but I personally think picking in the 3/1 to 8/1 range generally might prove beneficial. If anyone is going to be unable to post any week, it would be helpful to say so as early as possible so that a wildcard can be chosen. Because of the 3.00 final Saturday filing limit, it would also be helpful if everyone could try and post by say 2.45 on a Saturday so that a wildcard does not have to be a last minute panic. Good luck to all, hopefully my captain's role means I can just join in the glory of winning without my tipping being of significance, as I am not in the best of form at the moment!
Hiya guys i've posted so that only leaves 2 of us to post and surely we have to go each way in whatever we pick even if its 2-1 but depends if the humbugs pick an early winner before the 3pm cut off as there are loads of races my reserves are these if mine doesnt run Paddington 3.40 Curragh,Radio Goo Goo 4.40 Chester,Umming N' Ahing 4.55 Goodwood

Good luck undecided in trying to snatch victory. 2nd won't be too bad but we probably should have been able to hold on after the lead we had after the first week

Good luck with that one today, qqking. I see Racing Demon has just won at Chepstow, but only at 85/40 so hopefully we can get some winners at bigger prices.

Hello fellow . I will go 10pts win on Striking - 17.25 Punchestown at around the 7/4 mark. Was very tempted by De Capo Glory in the 16.15 so I would suggest that that is probably the better one to put your money on.....

Have gone for Prince Of Pillo in the 1.15 Haydock. The absence of 246 days may be a bit of a worry but the booking of Ryan Moore surely indicates that it is not just out for a run today. Good luck everybody today, it has been a funny competition with a couple of big priced winners for the opposition, so it will be interesting how it all pans out.

No jump racing Saturday so I prefer/need to find one tomorrow at Cartmel. Feel an e/w shot at a decent price is best chance of us stealing the glory of 1st place. Thought about Western Run e/w 14.30 but decided Fenney Brook 16.47 e/w is maybe better. Disappointed last time out over a shorter distance and after a six month break but was in my notebook from it's impressive run previous to that so happy to take a chance on it now it's had a pipe-opener. Cheers, Mad.

I totally agree with what undecided has said; there seems little point in going EW at this stage with how the table stands. We thus have 5 players tomorrow and I also think that if possible we should try to go with selections in 5 different races. At the moment I am likely to select in the 1.30 Newcastle, so it might be useful if the other 4 could indicate in which race where they are proposing to select, so that we try and spread our selections.

A slight lapse in "teamwork" will be forgiven by winners
I'll just wait shortly before 3, my races are 3, 4.10, 4.40, 5.05, may still look further.
Best of luck.

I have avoided the 1.30 as we already have a runner there and have gone for Prince Of Pillo in the 12.55 Newcastle. Both runs this season have been less than encouraging but as Keith Dalgleish will probably be retiring later this month his runners will all be in a "today is the day" mode.

Brilliant pick there bluenose, it puts us very much in contention. The pressure is on undecided who has still to select and loockup will keep things in suspense until the late Doncaster races

A really exciting competition and we were in the lead with an hour to go but eventually finished 3rd. Small margins, if only we had had a steward at Windsor or a slightly stronger jockey on Woolhampton. Some cracking winners over the competition and thanks to all for participating in the competition which was as usual administered by our team member undecided in his usual efficient manner. Hopefully you will all be willing to continue in the next competition unless you are lured away by money from Saudia Arabia!
