Well our hopes were raised
Thanks to HKF & Exacataman for getting us off the floor and lifting the spirits
However most of the other Teams also had a very good week as well which detracted from our efforts
80 is the target  & we got 115 so we have got to be pleased
Its just the first week cost us dear
The form of the last 5 weeks 66166 has been not been to our usual efforts
So lets see if we can at least finish with a Flourish

Final week will be a Royal Ascot send off
so see if we can still be in there with a real chance before then

Despite Hilly & Dessies seconds and Petes big priced 5th nothing to show on the score card
my place points added a litle but the price had disappeared
Didnt get the race or tactics I hoped for,

Jimnast saved our blushes with a nice winner I only topped it up a little

Well we just dropped off the pace towards the end there guys

I think it was another good comp, we pulled out some great efforts

Frustration is easy to kick in at this game but you know its swings and roundabouts game
The once a week aspect only compounds that but we all know about odds

Motseel hope you get to see a few different grounds it is something I wished I had made more effort to do when I was younger,my team spent a season in the old division two so got to see plenty that year regretfully never continued,of course back then there were only 92 teams and hardly ever was anybody voted out of division four.back then altringham and Northwich Victoria would have run away with the fourth division but were never allowed in it.

Stewpot started with 3 on Saturday, then me Sunday, how about we have a team "3 a day" running topic, where one team player selects three at a meeting of their choice? One point on each selection? After Sunday we are +4 pts, anyone up for it today? As I see it all of us could go on same day, or spread over the week. One play of three selections on one day per week? Week runs Saturday to Friday.

Jimnast you've been our top scorer for the last two comps and have only played in three so its good to know you'll be back!!!

Regarding posting selections through the summer I will be happy to do that although on poor days like today I simply don’t even make any effort to look ,7 days a week for me finished some time ago,

I expect Thursday/Friday will be good days with plenty meetings and I think some nice smaller track Irish?

The York race could end up been even better than the eclipse stewpot especially if both baaeed and desert crown turn up even if they don’t generally the judmonte or Irish champion throws up the strongest race of the flat season.
