Looks like we are still awaiting Billy L and Wonders, fingers crossed they show up.Anyone up for volunteering as captain yet? I will take it on if nobody fancies it but it would be rather ad hoc due to commitments,if you are ok with that let me know.
As you may have noticed the previous thread heading was encrypted lol,no idea how that happened and never even noticed. If you can sign in here with selections and just to let the team know you are aware would help.
Hi lads,no way will I be able to follow such terrific tipping over the weekend, however hope I can make a contribution.Have gone to Wolves 1820 hrs in the hope that Marco Botti feels that Stefano gives The Thunderer a better chance than Luke Morris or Hollie Doyle have managed.Ironically Hollie is on his fav,Tricolore, ridden solely to date by Stefano.Assuming there is a method to his arrangements gone ew on The Thunderer at a much bigger price.

Good luck Glen, hope you can get placed at least, unfortunately I've already put the Queens horse up as my Nap in the league table, don't want acey deucey sneaking back in front!

I am contemplating putting Tricolore up as a selection.
Twilight Son is a sire to keep a close eye on this year. His juvenile crop (two-year-olds) didn’t do brilliantly on the all-weather last year - winning just five of their 103 starts (4.9% strike-rate) for a loss of £63.50 to a £1 level stake at SP – though the turf runners fared better (12 from 131, 9.2%, +£9.74).
What is especially interesting is that the three-year-olds have done well so far, winning nine from 42 (all on the all-weather), with those who started in the front three in the betting recording nine wins from 19 starts (47.4%) for a profit of £17.90.
If I select it, it will be 5 mins before the off.

I hope you lads realise that Bisto Boy is trying to bring the team down? Backfired on him last night as he picked the winner in the same race as my selection, not sure what if any rules there are for sacking an intruder btw!!!

God knows what goes on in that head of yours! I dont intend getting into a slanging match with you as that is what floats your boat.
I picked a winner which is the whole idea of the competition is it not?

Btw Jamesdean, means you still have a pick to use before 1500hrs Saturday.

Have a bit of a conundrum tonight in that I like the look of 2 big priced horses in the 7.00 GP. Aussie Valentine is an old fav of mine, placed 2nd or 3rd in 3 or 4 Irish Lincoln h, 'Caps 1st time out on turf each year. Now a 10yo and in decline, started last season off 80 and after a fruitless year runs from a career low off 62 less 7lbs app allow, never ran in a 45-65 before, trainers in decent form, 25/1 at the minute Other horse is All the Mollies, never out of the frame here and won off 46 last Autumn after several close 2nds, new trainer has booked 7lb claimer S Rutledge to ride puts it on 47, she's very good imo about 14/1, not sure which one to put up as an EW bet, anyone care to say which one I should put up for comp?

Hi stew,go with your gut mate, both have their merits,if pushed I would say Aussie only needs a slight spark of old form to go well, looks extremely well handicapped if doing so.
Good luck whatever you choose,no criticism here for either.

We are simply guessers stew, that is what some will say!!!
Superb mate and bloody well done, sets us apart from the 4/6 types.
Acey is safe for now but he know the pressure is on,that said he is/was financially stable and might get lairy!!!

Good luck JD,an interesting pick having been reserve.Looks like if transferring flat runs to timber has a decent chance in what appears a weak race.
Have had an ew so hope you can do an Acey and get the win.

You are a genius Bisto Boy,11/2 when 13/2 was available? Did you have it in a double with the Duke of Edinburgh ysc.Seems like we are stuck with you for the duration unfortunately unless Undecided will allow us to drop you and play with 7 committed members as opposed to one who should be to the Tower.

Another excellent pick for the team,VWD scrabbler, good points. Not to worry Acey, hope it runs well.Just realised out of the five GN winners I have managed since the millennium,3 for Trevor Hemmings,1 for JP,Bindaree being the exception.
One of JPs due.

Have gone for old fav Secretinthepark in 4.30 Newmarket 5pts EW. Has ran some of his best races here and just touched of over C/D 1st time out last year, dropped to a mark is usually competitive from, drawn in 3 which isn't the best but think could still get placed at a big price.

WD DG,unlucky lads, good efforts without reward. The way it goes, another day the luck goes your way.As acey says, stay focused not least because a financial reward can result.
VWD all anyway, the results speak for themselves so you know you are doing ok.
