I'm obviously so pleased and I think in the end Rebecca ran him quite close. I've won a nice few quid and me and the missus are dancing round the room!
I've 'unblocked' everyone in the hope they can be graceful and say a litter 'well done, no hard feelings'. If you don't ok fair enough not to worry.
To Squares, Bunnyman, Figgy, A1 Bionic, Deejayeric, and laughing gravy I hope we can start again from scratch next year and get along a little better. I hope you all did ok and I wish you the best.
Thanks everyone for some great entertainment and there are a few true nice guys on this site.
I hope everyone out there at least got your BFH ...... Bus fare home!

I should have listened Lou... crack open the champagne well done. Rebecca still the top dog in my eyes though.
Congratulations Lou I was safely on board sitting in first class for this ride, Christmas has come early. Might even throw some money at the album, feel as if I owe the guy now.

hi aa - decent series in the end, although eliminations were a disappointment. On three occassions I had 5 figure swings on the judge's votes. In a normal year one would have come in, but this time they all lost. Its always a shock when XF finshes and you realise that the Autumn and half the winter has gone and Christmas is virtually here. Thanks for your good wishes, hope you had a great series and all the best to you, Mrs aa and toddler aa too.

Say what you like about Lou, but what I do genuinely admire is that you steadfastly stick to your opinions throughout, come what may, and never waver for a minute.
Others may contradict you, disagree with you, get into spats with you or even abuse you, but you always continue to stay true to your own views - and I like that.
When some of us (myself included) swing one way then the other, hedging our bets, playing the percentages, you're always prepared to put your b*lls on the line.
As a result you've probably made a lot more cash than me - and some others on here too!
Good luck to you. Keep playing the game, as it's good to have your input.

Mmmm, caveat would be that sometimes discretion is the better part of valour....I didn't stick to my guns over Rebecca and ended up ok....taking a rigidly unwavering course is the way to the workhouse imo.
Correct to say that Lou got it right and his reasons were right..though he sensibly (again imo) hedged his bets re Rebecca. He may see it as lost cash with hindsight but events could have been so much different tonight.

To be honest though when the result was due i was thinking "surely with all he's performances since tha start, about three which were real 'knockout', his 'winners song' which I thought was clearly the better of the two and all the massive poll leads ..... he must win it mustn't he" .................... luckily I was right.
