Spain will this years world cup. They are ridiculously overpriced at 5.8. With probably the best strike force in torres and villa and certainly the best midfield with iniesta, xavi, fabregas et al. they are sure to cruise through their group- they will be 4.5 to win once they demolish their group- for those of the faint hearted. I will be cheering them all the way to lifting the trophy.

Well done but would it not have been easier to watch the games during the qualifying campaign and Barcelona week in week out.

Er, no it isn't.

South Africa in our summer, their winter, i.e when they DON'T play cricket. Why would that be?

One thing i find in betting is that the easier that something looks the more chance it doesnt happen. :(

One 4th place in 18 World Cups. That is Spain's record.
Report rangers February 9, 2010 8:40 PM GMT
World Cups are easy. 2 golden rules.

Dont bet European teams outside Europe.

Never back a team that hasnt won before unless they are Home nation.

That leaves Brazil, Argentina and South Africa.

Cant have Argentina (Manager major negative) and South Africa (Not good enough).

Answer

BRAZIL.

Six months research?

Is that 24/7?

six months = 182.621099 days

six months = 4,382.90639 hours

Now; maybe, just maybe you worked on your research project for eight hours per day for six months

Spanish football has evolved a lot in the last few years but a big leap of faith to see them win the WC after the blowing their bottle mentality in the last Euro. England every more ridicilously short. Germany 15s+ once again the side to have green pretourniment. :-)

Germany don't have a hope in hell

Germany will make it to the QF's if they're lucky
Report Sunset Cristo March 7, 2010 4:45 PM GMT
Said that last time. And they nearly won it. Write off the Germans at your peril.
Report Sunset Cristo March 7, 2010 4:46 PM GMT

Congratulations on finding a 4-1 plus bet now at 1.57.
Also a good call imo as no european country has won the world cup other than in europe, which will happen whoever wins the final.
