1 at 4.3. Sometimes this class drop can be dodgy, but Chad Brown has an excellent record with horses dropping from maiden special weights to maiden claimers. Excellent value. |

3 at 4.3 Going to have to back the 3 at 4.3 as well now that the price has drifted. William Mott has an excellent record with horses second time out off a 180 day+ layoff. |

Thanks a lot Kp! Very satisfying result for me. I did like your reasoning about the 11. That was an uncharacteristic performance by it and I do think it'll break its maiden soon enough.

Good luck Kp. I've got a feeling that 2 is no longer the same horse since leaving the Timothy Kreiser barn. I prefer the 3 at 6.6 which has made a positive barn change. |

Wouldn't begrudge you the win at all though.

hmmm if the 2 can outpace the 11, it might have it easy, but if 11 duels with the 2, 2 could get warn down. I think that's a key to this race.
I wouldn't be surprised if the 11 has lost its pace since moving barn, which could make things quite comfortable for the 2. |

If it wasn't for the 3's recent 1 mile+ workouts, I wouldn't have faith in its fitness and I'd be joining you on the 2. I am little suspicious as to why the 3's been moved to Penn and put up for sale. It could be a donkey that Hendriks is trying to get rid of.

There are a lot of variables. I enjoy the variables though. Makes it more interesting and exploitable if you know how weight the variables. I really hope you backed the 2!
