if what onlywayforward preaches is right, not many favs will win @ penn tonight, Pats won at short odds last night in NFL and would be heavily backed (including my yours truly) and he alleges mob involvement with books there etc...

The market for race 10 at Sunland hasn't gone the way I wanted as 8 & 6 haven't been missed by the layers. No7+9 are overpriced for small wagers but they need things to break their way as not the best horses in the event

satana I think No10 Great Arturo will run well in race 11 at Sunland. I noted him running well a couple of weeks ago. He gets an extra furlong to run which will suit but he is only one of 4 or 5 that can win this. At 9.00+, I am with him. If he shortens to 4.00 or 5.00, I can pass in an instant. No4 has the most talent but has had a lot of chances.

jockeys hold at Penn, surely the idiot on teh 6 isnt complaining? as I watched that race in real time I was thinking that if the 6 got up it would get chucked, its drifted badly left all the way down the straight and carried the eventual winner right into the rail. I'd be surprised if there wasnt contact but certainly wasnt anything the 7s rider could have done about it.

okay so the head on shows that the 7 initially give sthe 6 a bump right at the the top of teh straight and again at the finish line, possibly just after it, but intbetween those two incidents the 6 is all over the 7 like a rash. I'll be disgusted if this is reversed

with only 3 of us betting these markets are 99.9% made up for traders and the like, that late drift on teh 2 wasnt because it was unfancied it was just a balancing of the books based on the fact it wasnt anything like a 3-1 shot come the off. People who use dto stake decent money on US racing have all disappeared since the PC came into affect imo. and thats left themarkets as no guide whatsoever.
