Penn R4 Rightly or wrongly my minds made up to oppose the 3 and have laid it accordingly at 11/8, has right connections but has looked an out and out miler and although there is plenty of pace don't think its stamina will count over this 6f trip.
My two plays are the 6 & 7 who could have the race set up for them, w & p on both

7 was one of my best bets tonight at Penn massive odds at 8/1 now priced about right

Should be a jose triple max place bet loads and loads of pace for this to sit off and has better times than these and has won at better class

Caveat is I think this is a bit of a chancer so have not gone in as hard as it would seem his chances deserve on the win part.

Interesting race this at Penn

Twice the 7 horse has made the pace twice this horse has been ridden on the slop.

He doesnt like the slop imo and has ridden gd races that appear he is the pace angle his win was on a fast track here.

Katie Lee as a rule usually holds her horses up off the pace the two horses I feared the most have been scratched at 3/1 its worth a play.

Its bred by a 8f horse and plenty of these look poor at the trip timewise

Penn R7 Was unable to make a selection in this as couldn't see anything that would willingly go from the front, so a no bet race for me, has messy written all over it.

Cork agree pace is tricky but believe Katie will have this horse tonight up there controlling speed would be happy enough for the 7 to take the pace on.

So long as we dont get stupid fractions mid 24, 49 for the 1/2 mile this imo should skate in

5 horse was given 7lb plus a claimer 7lb and beaten 2 lengths by the 4 granted its probably better at shorter

The only way possible this could beat the 4 imo is if its so slow it becomes a 3f sprint.

5 has never won at Penn either granted the booking of whitney suggests they mean business personally it doesnt bother me tonight.

Prepared to be proved wrong so often I am but am happy with 4 and will continue to play this if it keeps drifting.

Gov I thought the 5 was the more likely to go on albeit under sufferance, just not prepared to play in a race that has DANGER written all over it in red to me.
Spent this afternoon recovering what I lost on a bad morning on the greyhounds and promised myself if I got ahead tonight I would work on my discipline and not be drawn in when I couldn't clearly see anything that I fancied, will cheer home the 4 for you instead...!

Governor - I agree that the 4 has all of the credentials, but anything can happen in a race like this - as it happens, I have it as a low cost "saver", but I can't help but think this is going to be unpredictable - either that, or he'll walk it......

nice horts poor last 30 mins but still been an okay night

Just a poor race really speed fractions were as predicted 4 and 7 were pretty much where I predicted things

No reason on logical time to suggest 4 wouldnt have beaten these, 5 was smashed out of sight.

The layers of 4 knew something to push this out so maybe it was a know race but u have to take your stand and believe in your convictions.

Shame as that would have made it a superb night still.

Agree Cork your a shrewd cookie as is Jazzy I am just playing Penn pretty much and have a odd bet on UK racing as its almost impossible for me, all weather not too bad.

Used to punt the dogs but no time with the little ones a blessing probably, though do miss the old Hackney days.

Penn R9 The finale, had a rethink on this looking at that last race, where 1 & 4 were up with the pace all the way, it could be that 4 will get an easy lead and if so could take them wire to wire, banking on something taking it on though as my two picks come from off the pace they are the 6 & 8, gl all

Doing fine now thanks Gracie but been a bit of a slog today, started at 10 this morning and have only managed a couple of breaks, but balance increased after some early reversals so alls well, will be raring to go again tomorrow on the BAGS...!

Penn R9 has some opportunites if you want to take on the fave's, No 4 and No 5 which are likely winners, BUT;

No 1 at 17.5 - should be 5's or 6's

No 3 at 40's - WIN and PLACE

No 7 at 23's is simply Too Big - should be 7 or 8's
