I can't imagine that the 300/1 Shnaider is actually available. All other bookmakers much shorter and she's only 150/1 to actually win it with Bet Fred on Oddschecker. Their website is not showing anything in the outright markets.
She was 400/1 to win it with Unibet earlier in the week, but they wouldn't accept my token bet. What's the point offering those odds if you won't even accept small bets?
Although Shnaider would be a plus on fitness she has only had one day recovery, and her draw couldn't be much worse. Even with a good draw her odds wouldn't have been much shorter. That said she has the game to trouble all those Grand Slam winners. I think her forehand is second to none. There's a balance here as a backer you want her to fly under the radar for another couple of ordinary tournaments, and that probably involves getting knocked out early. At least today's match is on Court 14, and not a show court.

All odds quoted are from odds comparison, could not get it myself as they're currently not offering it, don't know if it's a glitch but next best price is 100/1 with Hills, if they are still not offering it before the off then will mark it down as 100/1.

yes top price is 200/1 outright at best on oddscompaison so will go with the 100/1 to reach the final
I dip in and out of tennis (women's), and was just lucky to see Shnaider early last week. I would be surprised if there was a better current prospect. As well as the game she appears to have the mental side as well. The defeat to Cocciaretto in Birmingham at first glance probably doesn't look that great, but the Italian played well on the day, and Shnaider almost certainly stepped up a level last week. Pliskova is going to be difficult if she serves well, but I am hoping that Shnaider will just hit through that chopped recovery shot she has employed for several years.
Another brilliant win for Shnaider, coming from a set down against a Wimbledon champ and grass court specialist. Probably the match-up of the day, but nobody giving it a second thought. Stephens next so hopefully the run might continue. I doubt Shnaider does complacency.

Another one done. This time I think I can say a Grand Slam winner. Obviously, not put off by change of courts and rain, and nice to have an easy win following several three set matches. Osaka out of the way, and next up a rematch of last week against Navarro. Let's hope it's a repeat result. I think Gauff is favourite for this section, but she has had a ridiculously easy draw.
Just noticed that Shnaider is now 14/1 to win the 4th quarter, but Navarro is 5/1. Unless they know Shnaider has an injury then those odds are ridiculous. Shnaider is 2-0 against Navarro, winning on both clay and grass.
Didn't see today's match, but a disappointing end given their history and particularly with Shnaider comfortably taking the first set. It sounds from reading about it that Shnaider hadn't got enough physically to see it through. This might have been a very big chance missed.
Vekic and Navarro both in the last 8, both having been beaten by Shnaider in Germany. Hugely frustrating.

it's a good strategy to target a weak section and pick a QF winner there.
The Donna pick was helped by Sabalenka withdrawing after these selections I believe, but Musetti was always going to have a good chance from the non Medvedev/Sinner/Alcaraz quarter. Osty was also a good pick in the Iga section, but then fell on the last hurdle (BK appearing out of nowhere).

I knew she was struggling with her injury so she wasn't backable, she withdrew after the tournament began, which made Vekic far more appealing but even then she had to overcome Yastremska and Badosa who were not gimmies.
Musetti was 20/1 so the market didn't think he would get through, he'd never been past the 3rd round but he got lucky not having to play Rublev, Tsitsipas or Fritz, that's why he was a value pick only, actually thought Draper would win but that mug Norrie played out of his skin.
