you definitely heard it here first, good grass court player is Katie, worth of a punt of anyone's money, feels like her breakthrough year at the age of 27, starting to beat top 20 players, won a couple of tournaments this year, might not even have to take out Ryba and Iga if Fernandes and Ostapancake do their jobs then she can take them out, meets Pegula 3rd rd who she beat start of the year in the United Cup

the Stawberry and cream mafia at SW19 will carry her to glory this long hot summer

Kind Regards.

She has done so well this year, loves grass and is a fighter, just wonder if the pressure of Wimbledon may be a bit much for her, also although she has beaten Pegula, I feel she will struggle against the top 5 or 10, but if a few get knocked out and her confidence grows she could go close.

If you can use, a few bookies have her at 50s to reach the final, 365, Boyles

She has done well at Wimbledon before (just fallen short against big names). This year it's a bit of a new situation because there's some pressure unlike ever before at Wimbledon, but she is generally good at handling pressure. Maria who she plays in the first round is good on grass, but KT should be levels above her in 2024. Pegula is of course a tough opponent in R3 should they both make it that far, but is by no means unbeatable as Emma beat her just a few days ago, and KT beat Emma.

Watching her at present would want 66-1 to win this match

She was never going to lose, but she made a real meal of that against an opponent with next to no weapons.

Opponent was a semi finalist at Wimbledon, though prob not at that level currently, but still not a nobody.

Maria is ranked 63, and prior to this got tonked in her home tournament. It's typical for our commentators to make excuses for the british players. Most of the time she was just giving Boulter hitting practice. The vast majority of her points came from her serve, and Boulter mistakes.

Still a straight sets win against a former SF player here. Not that terrible in bigger picture to get started here.

Oops - picked the wrong Brit girl...Sad

Boulder played absolutely terrible. Dart didn't win the match Boulter blew it.
Couldn't keep it in the court at baselines , and couldn't get it over the net when returning Dart's weak second service. Pathetic.

Unfortunantly it was one of those things where Dart who is rubbish and will lose the next match, upped her game because she's desperate to be British Number 1. Especially bad for Katie given Pegula has been knocked out.

Oh well, will have to jump on the Shnaider bandwagon I created.

Four matches ago I just happened to say how consistent Boulter had been. Three matches since, and she has been anything but consistent. Awful in the last Eastbourne match, not good in the first round here, and a million errors today. The game can make a fool out of anyone. It seems so often the mental side just as important as the tennis itself.

sadly as usual with 99% of British players Katy blew the big tournament, sadly Dart will lose the next match, more chance of Sunak winning Wimbledon.
