The Batman costume is strictly for Hantuchova / roof related activity. Back to Emma though she was impressively greedy about hanging onto her lead in the second set. In the previous round her attention had definitely wandered a bit when ahead. Lots of positives and she's now at 90% so getting to the final would finally close the book on her, albeit more than halfway through the tennis year.

yeah, not a bad week for her. Best ever WTA result for her outside her US Open win, and an injury due to overplaying would have put a dampener to the whole thing. And now she gets to watch England tonight whereas Katie might miss it due to it clashing with the final.
