was that the weakest Masters 1000 win of all time? I don't remember the last time a player won a masters haven't not beat a single top 12 player or former slam winner/finalist, any player of real calibre, Norrie's Indian Wells win didn't have most of the above, but the level of player was far higher than the bums Zverev beat this week, Fritz is average. Gone are heady days of having to beat multi slam winners to get your hands on one of these, 2011 Rome, Novak had to go through peak Nadal, Murray, Wawrinka and Soderling, plus the legendary Kubot, 2009 Madrid, Federer going through Nadal, Del Potro, Roddick, Soderling, Blake, and many others.

If this is a sign of things to come, count me out.

Kind Regards.

Don't worry it's the calm beore the storm.  It's just a bit early for Newgen to really sparkle.
This is basically the Lleyton Hewitt era part 2.

Mensik, Fonseca and LVA are a bit green and need to pay their dues but you can't watch them and not be excited about 2-3 years down the line.
