what's a SUPERTERF again?
|
By:
A TERF is a trans exclusionary (or excluding?) radical feminist.
....A SUPERTERF is the super version of that. Like when Son Goku becomes a Super Sayan. |
By:
I put Ireland in the bracket of I would be amazed if it won. I have layed quite a bit in the low teens.
|
By:
I can't arb on this event anymore, but I do some political actual bets because of how ESC fans are, backed Ukraine early in 2022 and have layed Israel this year.
|
By:
It just feels that oddmakers these days have to much material available to them to decide the favourite from streaming and twitter to gauge which song is hyped and is bound to win the televote handsomely.
|
By:
so much material
|
By:
Hence why I wondered if the favourite ever loses these days.
|
By:
oddsmakers just copy Betfair
But that is usually spot on these days for reasons you mention. Like last year when it had Finland winning SF over Sweden but Sweden winning the whole thing over Finland. |
By:
There's always the risk of the performer **** the bed on stage.
|
By:
.....But I am not going to bet on Croatia. I don't know these things. Please do not put your life saving on Croatia because I wonder if favourites lose at the ESC.
....Or do, but don't come blaming me after the event. |

Fuego was strong fav around evens 2018 and was beaten
|
By:
2022 was an anomoly because of the war
2023 Loreen was strong fav and won |
By:
2016, Russia was strong fav and got beat
|
By:
Isreal was fave early on unless there was a switch later.
|
By:
2016 was close between RUS, AUSTRALIA and some other country (Italy), no? It was the last year I arbed on the event.
|

Netta
|
By:
2022 Ukraine was big fave shortly after the invasion and pretty much shortened until the show with some reactions on final day.
|
By:
Problem is insiders must be in action. The money on Israel right now is crazy. Someone must know something about tonights result !
|
By:
oh yes. Yikes, time for me to worry about my Israel lay.
|
By:
Someone know that she won the tele vote tonight or got a huge jury score ( I know the juries votes don't count tonight but they will after tomorrows rehearsal and they voted tonight as back up for each countries televote )
|
By:
Aaron supplied me with information that the Italian televote leaked. Israel won 40% of that.
|
By:
Although I have not verified if people aren't just making it up.
|
By:
|
By:
|
By:
Well, almost 40%. It was 39.31% according to the supposed leak.
|
By:
There will be riots in Malmö on Saturday if Israel wins.
|
By:
Greta at the forefront.
|
By:
If she hasn't been arrested by then.
|
By:
She was in court earlier this week, but she might be available for rioting on Saturday.
|
By:
|
By:
Can't believe you want riots in Malmö

Italian TV apparently had the percentages in the running banner at bottom. |

*odd
|
By:
unless only the most hardcore fans (likely to be anti Israel) listens to Spotify before the event and it's a much different group that makes up the tv viewers. Bu generally they go somewhat hand in hand.
|
By:
Europapa is just incredibly lame live.
|
By:
That says 6% Switzerland. That is shockingly low. They are 1.45 top 3 which I have just layed 2k. Hoping the leak is correct.
