why did Garin get the point? should have been let replay the point, clearly.
umpire had a brain fart. There's no reason whatsoever to reward the point to Garin here. One of the worst calls I have ever seen.

they moved Transylvania Open to February too, which killed it for her
could even give them Valentine's week. It would have been something to work with.

This time last year Halys ran Ruud to a final set tiebreak in the Estoril semifinal. This year he lost in the first round of the Barcelona challenger to.....Nick Hardt.
Ruud not really good at Estoril semifinals.

Think players should show integrity so pathetic from Garin. That's how I see it anyways. Glaring error from the umpire obviously. But just like Bielsa insisting his team let in a goal when they scored unfairly, I believe this should be the truth in all sport and competition !

yeah, I can understand not active interfering with an umpire's bad calls in your favor, but when you're straight up asked, give an honest answer. Borges's offer to at least replay was very fair and Garin wouldn't even go for that.

What did Garin say? "I don't remember, soz!"?
I haven't watched, but from what I understand yes.

will be interesting to see what Danielle can do on the European clay.
I was thinking this. she did well in Miami, especially beating Rybakina in the final. I feel like she's flat track bullied her way through Charleston a bit. I'm especially interested in how her Danielle 3.0 gamestyle will match up against Sabalenka. Next week is BJK Cup and USA are drawn at home, on hard court, against Belgium. She'll be part of that team I assume, but the hardest opponent is Elise Mertens so there shouldn't be any problems there. Is she down for Stuttgart? I assume she isn't, so it would be Madrid next followed by Rome. I can't wait to see how she gets on playing these events
