Poor people of Zhengzhou. For the larger part of four years, they haven't been allowed to leave their homes and now they will be forced to watch tennis. Pretty packed week in WTA, and on the men's side Shanghai continues.

it was so much fun, even though my Bills lost. Surprised how a large majority were Bills fan with the Jags being London's team, I guess the Bills mafia really do travel well.

Erika coming off a confidence building third set tb comeback against Teichmann should power past Dodin. Korneeva obviously the next big thing but the market getting a bit ahead of itself, Linda F the established player and (finally) winning matches again should get it done.

this was quite something. 10 match losing streak and losing the 1st against Masarova 6-1, then Masarova got injured herself and Linda was able to win the match. Built on the confidence from that and is 4-2 since then.

Zhengzhou has quite the nice arena. Hope they have some use for it beside tennis once per year.

Eva Lys retired. Luckily I actually looked at pics before completing my arb and saw she was calling for the trainer at 0-3 down in set 1, never a good sign.
Wouldn't fancy my chances of getting into the VIP section with Taylor.
she kicks off the South American leg of her tour on Nov 9. So I guess it's possible for her to see Travis Kelce in Germany on the 5th. But not ideal as shouting LET'S ****G GO is bound to take a toll on her voice.

Erika may even win Rouen. Having nearly broken the top 100 she was hurtling towards 200 in a tailspin, imo with too much of an eye on what her kid sister was achieving. She's starting to motor again and she's still a teen after all.

she was hobbling all over the place and it seemed she couldn't serve after the fall.

Erika loses in the final. Nothing left in the tank tbh. To get to the final of a WTA125 as a qualifier is still pretty good going. Good wins over Teichman, Dodin and Burrage and she let Cornet drown in her own mistakes.
