I guess the woman between Vekic and Tauson must be Naef, but she looks surprisingly short (Vekic and Tauson are of course relatively tall). An impression I never got watching Naef on the tennis court.

I think the extra woman, if she isn't tagged, is the tournament interviewer/media person who is seen in the interview clips on their instagram, just with her hair tied back. Like this one

Maybe they invited Australia, but Australia couldn't find any players. Kyrgios hates clay and expected to at least be in the Wimbledon final, Tomic hates clay, Thompson hates clay, de Minaur possibly had his holiday with Katie booked (no other holiday spots available in their schedules with the US hard court season coming up).

On the women's side they would for sure have found Saville, but men looks problematic.

Guess they could probably have had O'Connell or Kubler.

It was a line call at 15:15 called out by the line umpire, ballmark inspected and confirmed as out by the chair umpire.

Once decided it’s over. The erased ball mark came after the next point. Sure it was in your face to erase it but it was by then a meaningless mark.

People realise that, but it's still uncool to deliberately further tilt your opponent that was asking you not to erase it. An opponent that you absolutely know was cheated.

yeah, I know. I was posting because it's from an umpire's point of view.

what a plot twist it would be if Leo Borg actually turned out to be decent. He's been impressive in the Stockholm and Båstad events.

But on the hipster circuit he doesn't have any impressive results, other than maybe a win against Donskoy. I don't know how good he is in 2023.

PTPA haven't commented on this one or the Zhang/Toth drama. They usually love to point out some nonsense tweet when something controversial happens.

Maybe the difference is more that Vera traveled to Poland to play a WTA tournament in Poland whereas Diatchenko tried to travel from Egypt to an ITF tournament on Corsica on a really complicated route and with a stop in Poland.
