Their match at French Open had quite a lot of interest, so let's try a thread again for pre match talk and match commentary. So to not dilute the threads, let's keep the talk about this one here and not in the main Wimbledon thread.
I think Novak prevails again, but I think the odds are about right and don't see any value.

well played BOTH guys..some phenomenal retrieving and winners..probably the only guy that would have beaten Djoko today

the zeitgeist..but the momentum shift from the 3rd set to the 4th and then from the 4th to the 5th..smth otherwordly about them..we are not alone

Well deserved Carlos - I knew he was a danger, but didn't see his level as that high to achieve that. Long live the (new) king.

Though USO will still be an interesting match up if/when they meet.

Agree thought semi with Medvedev would have been a hard match with being top seed and solid serve, Alcaraz looked head and shoulders above amazing.

Sinner, while not exhuming general greatness, will be one of Alcaraz's bigger stumbling stones imo through the years. Not that he will amass slams, but I see him as a spoil sport in taking out Alcaraz here and there.
Tsitsipas is hopeless indeed in the matchup. Zverev generally matches up decently, like Sinner, but simply isn't playing well.

Fed's eight Wimbledons might survive intact. Just can't see Carlos getting eight on grass. As for Novak he needs to build up his US Open haul anyway. It's a bit light.
