Will be interesting to see what Milos can do. Not only it is his first match in almost 2 years, it's also his first grass court match since Wimbledon 2019!
After recent hiatuses, he has done well, but those were after 5 months, not 2 years, so we'll see. |

Grass isn't actually that good for offensive tennis. It's just really bad for defence.
A lot of the rally winners are just the result of players not able to or do not dare to change direction or generally move quickly. |

I don't think Lopez even has any real say in wild cards at Madrid. IMG, just like at Miami, seems to be the party that makes the decisions in that regard since they bought the tournament from Tiriac.

maybe I'm reading too much into this, but Berrettini getting 3 games in his comeback and Raonic on his way to winning his comeback match against similar opposition tells me these nextgenners aren't really any good and that Raonic's generation was very unlucky to be in the big 4 era.
