Rafa 1.39 in his opening match. Can't recall when a reigning Slam champion was such high odds to win his R1.

Remember having a £10k lay on Rafa at around 1.3x iirc vs Murray in 2007. 16 years ago, damn! Fell asleep and Rafa won but Murray was 2-1 up at one stage.

There were lots more opportunities on this site and bookies still took a bet then. Great days to be a bettor!

Of course it's exactly 15 years since the Australian Open she should have won, ( Serbian footwear shenanigans notwithstanding ).

first slam without Federer on tour officially, a shame he never crossed paths with Alcaraz because he'll be the next multi multi slam winner.

They are analysing Siniakova's serve. It's actually one I play with, simplifies the serving action.

Anisimova having a really poor start to the year. I had high hopes for her this season.

AO is never going to get a casual audience, given most the forum is based in Europe.

Marta looked good so far this year on other hand.

And tbh I'm starting to give up on Ansimova, she hasn't really progressed at all post-pandemic.

She butchered my Halep French outright bet, only for Simona to go on and win Wimbledon later that year.

She is still only 21, but even so, I think expectations would be higher by now.

She is too good looking to succeed I think. Only Sharapova really mastered it but even she should have done better really.

I actually thought you were being serious until I looked at the score.

And then 5 seconds later TV, which is on Gauff went around the grounds and showed it oo.

Kostyuk definitely has looked way more focused at the start of this year.
Tennis last year was almost like her second job to being a spokewoman for Ukraine.

She might have to face a Russian next round though.
