It's funny. Laver Cup has given us some of the fakest reactions and emotions ever over the years, and today it has given the most real emotions you'll ever see, especially Rafa who we never see like this

To be honest, I thought both of them Fed and Nadal look pretty pathetic crying, though the two worst cryers I've ever seen are Pat Butcher and Ian Beale, off the cringe o'metre scale.

Nadal is a strange one, he's never really been emotional during his career that I can think of, even when he's lost slam finals, especially the epic v Novak in Australia, so it comes across as a bit manufactured, same with his over the top celebrations the first time I saw this event, really weird, wonder if his being prompted from behind the scenes from sponsors to grow this event with clickbait moments like that.

Re Mirka, she is a bit of a milf, but let's be honest, all the women Roger could have had over the years, he has missed out.

Rafa is simply very empathic. Too hard to cry over his own misfortune, but will cry along with you if you are sad.

Dont think that was manufactuared at all Mes, Nadal has probably realised his old foe and friend is bowing out and hes litrally next, i think its a case of relity for him. I think them both are a credit, to be able to be such great friends even tho they fought for the same prize for 20 years is incredible, i coudlnt see myself doing the same but at the end of the day its sport it finishes on the court

Just leaving this Bublik highlight from today in here.

It will be a year until I can seethe about Laver Cup, but I hate this event. If it was just advertised as an exho I would not have a problem with it, but with people treating it a big deal (thankfully not you phorumites, 0 posts on final day ) it really annoys me. Sadly, because it had some real moments this year, Federer's last match and Rafa's tears, amongst all the fakery, it will boost the credibility of the event, and Team World winning might help with that as well. However I think interest will fade away with Federer no longer being an active player. Unless Team World steps up over the next years and this becomes competitive, then it has a chance.
