Not watching NK matches if I can avoid it, but judging by results he's looking really elite these days. Will be interesting to see if he can maintain this in NY, but fatigue must be setting in at some point.

The spotlight being on Emma, Andy and to an extent Cam is helping Jack Draper I feel. Will be interesting to see if he continues to deliver when more of the spotlight is on him. I predict a very bright future for this young man.
These events feel like such b events on the ATP side with Rafa and Novak not playing. Wondering if it will feel the same once they're retired or just now because they're still around but part-timers.

she does explain later that she was first alternate, so had Bianca withdrawn 2 hrs earlier she would have got into qualies.

only she will know. If she knew she wasn't gonna play it's proper etiquette to withdraw before the draw. But if you're unsure and want to wait til last minute and see how your body is feeling, I see no problem with this as you need to take care of number 1.
