I suspect Ana knew what she was doing, trying to get as much of a delay between sets as possible to break Sara's momentum

the heat rule was already in effect. That should have been enough. And with SST feeling unwell no point in giving her extra time to recover. But I don't know Bogdan well.

Shame I wasn't paying attention or I might have profited.

would rate SST's stamina as much better than Ana Bogdan's, regardless of the illness complaint

that's why I suspect Ana was trying to get as much recovery between sets as possible

Probably because Palermo wanted a WTA tournament again and this was the licence/calendar spot that was available.

Just heard Kasatkina has come out as lesbian, that's news to me, wouldn't have guessed.

She already talked about being bisexual in an interview sometime last year. In the most recent one she only said she currently has a girlfriend as far as I know, not that she is exclusively into females.

I'm a bit confused. She came out as bisexual a year ago. And now I see big headlines about her being a homosexual.

I watched bits of pieces of the video with her and Rublev when I saw it posted on TF last night, but didn't watch the whole thing. Maybe she did say she was all super only lesbian, I didn't care enough to forensically analyse the entire video as I said, but I doubt she did.

Leylah gave an update on her foot. Her return was meant to start with an exhibition match with Coco in Atlanta but her Doctors have advised against it. I hadn't been concerned about her US Open prep (based on information coming out) but now I am a bit.
