Life on the tennis tours continue with grass events across Europe in the final week before Wimbledon. Normally the week before Slams is for the mugs to shine, but this week there are several big names in action, both men and women.
There is of course also Wimbledon qualifying this week.

Well, this is one way round the Wimbledon ban... Natela Dzalamidze, a 29-year-old doubles player ranked No 44 in the world, changed her nationality from Russia to Georgia in time for the entry deadline last Monday and will compete at the All England Club.

Serena Williams has cancelled her practice session at Devonshire Park today.

Still expected to play tomorrow or Wednesday alongside Ons Jabeur.

Philipp Kohlschreiber has announced that Wimbledon is his last tournament in an interview after his match (you can rewind to it on the Youtube stream, just a couple minutes ago):

"It's gonna be my last tournament. I'm gonna stop after the Wimbledon 2022."

Riske's serve style is so unique. No downswing, just lifts the racket and hits. Seems to work well.

Certainly going to try it out myself. Mechanics look a lot more simpler! You getting to Eastbourne yourself at some stage?

Hi all. Sadly I had to withdraw from Wimbledon today after my match in Eastbourne. I have been dealing with terrible shin splints and beaten up feet for quite some time now and can’t go on with it anymore. I have been advised to rest and recuperate is the best way forward.

Weird decision to play Halle and Eastbourne and withdraw from Wimbledon instead of at least skipping Eastbourne and playing Wimbledon, but his body, his doctors will know what's best.

I doubt how it worked out was the original plan, but yes if he has been having issues for a while skipping the warm-ups to give Wimby a chance seems more sensible. Maybe he doesn't care much for Slams, played Delray Beach over AO qualies last year.
