I can not respect a person who has blue hair.

It's meant to rain (or at least drizzle) in Paris for much of the next two days.

ES tricked me for a while with their shenanigans. I was so confused to see Alex C in the cube because I had seen him onsite earlier during the day. Then I remember about The Cube.

is this thinly veiled fat shaming?

Pavs liked it in her stories.

maybe she's crying on the inside.
Dasha said in the interview fans are always fatshaming Pavs. Now players do it too? |

Between May 23 and June 8, for every 10 minutes you run or track your tennis session, adidas and Parley will clean up the equivalent weight of a plastic bottle from our beaches and islands - up to 250,000kg. Sign up on the adidas Running App & get moving. Find out more at adidas.com/ runfortheoceans and in my stories. #adidasParley #ImpossibleIsNothing #createdwithadidas @adidastennis @adidasrunning I think I know what Thiem will be doing for the Oceane these next two weeks. |

Definitely a more likeable way to use Soc Med than luring fans into crypto/NFTs (or e-wallets in Marta's case)
|
By:
What e-wallet is Marta promoting?
|
By:
Ah, found it in her profile description.
|

Saw Marta's a little less talented older sister is playing in Grado qualies tomorrow.

I'll tell you the thing that came up in an interview she did, because I keep forgetting and I thought it was interesting.
Five years ago she and Whitney were sitting in a hotel bedroom with their parents and representatives of the WTA and basically they were saying because of the limited amount of matches they were allowed to play it was damaging both players. And because they knew the rules were to prevent burnout, the was a deal discussed by which they could play as many matches as they wanted BUT... both would have to promise to retire from tennis permanently on their 25th birthdays. And apparently the discussion got quite advanced, draft agreements were frawn up but they never reached a deal. |

Teen prodigy Ash Barty retired about a month before her 26th birthday.
Hmmm...... |
By:
That's food for thought.
I realised what it reminded me of. Faust / Dr faustus. You get what you want but at a terrible cost. |
By:
That sounds totally made up Journeyman
|
By:
Just to clarify, do you mean
1 - Marta was telling a tall tale or 2 - You're accusing me of lying on a public forum? |
By:
Who is Whitney?
|
By:
Whitney Osuigwe, phorum favourite
|
By:
it doesn't sound like something that could realistically implemented. so your marquee player on 5 slams and world number 1 is suddenly forced to retire at age 25. what if they don't want to retire?
|
By:
could be*
|
By:
Why wasn't Victoria or any of Marta's sisters in the hotel room? Very rude to leave them out. "Oh this is just for the kids we believe in".
|
By:
I wasn't there.
I can find the actual interview. Shouldn't take me long. |

Ban lip injections!!!

Whitney had such promise, e.g beating Bencic and Leylah Annie at 16/17 years old. Shame she didn't work out.

what went wrong for Whitney? I remember watching her against DRC in Miami in 2019 I think it was. she seemed to have some promise. that was over 3 years ago now
