Dani just said it took her almost a year to get over her choke against Ivanovic at the Aussie Open.
|
By:
but that loss helped her in a future match against Woz

Sakkari will be way quicker since she got used to it,her career is all about choking and underachieving.I said 2years ago, Tom Hillnis the biggest scam in tennis coaching history,he literally got a battlehorse and cant make it fight properly, shame.I was always rooting for Sakkari but I think she never gonna make it unless change her coach

Jil should be fave against Dasha.
|
By:
Jil retired
|
By:
that was kinda expensive. I saw her grimace at one point in the first set. Looked like back. But it was only once and no other signs during the rest of the set so I didn't worry about it. Then at 2-1 up in 2nd set she takes an MTO for a thigh injury and retires two games later. Can't really blame her for being careful given how she missed RG last year over an injury that she picked up the week before.
|
By:
Jil deserves an injury free season finally but something happens to her body unfortunately
|
By:
just got in now. will read back now. ffs missed some great matches, especially the Iga one

Novak Djokovic is firmly in Alexander Zverev’s corner when it comes to criticism of the scheduling of some ATP tournaments, saying it is not fair to ask a player to compete in a final after their previous match ended in the early hours of the morning.
Zverev hit out at the powers that be after his Madrid Open final defeat against Carlos Alcaraz on Sunday, describing the scheduling as “an absolute disgrace” as he revealed that he went to bed at 5:20am after his semi-final win over Stefanos Tsitsipas and had to be back on court a few hours later. The German was full of praise for Alcaraz as he felt the teenager deserved the win, but explained that he struggled throughout the match due to a lack of sleep. |

it's been such a brutal week for stocks and crypto, but the bets have been going well, and then the one day stocks and crypto are doing well I got owned by a retirement. So there's never a day of completely smooth sailing.

yeah or I could also get owned by some more.
Speaking of retirements, Sabine won another match this week but retired from her match yesterday due to food poisoning. |

Nobody wins 27 matches in a row from Poland..Or can Iga prove me wrong? Thats the riddle for today, good luck to solve it :)

Sam Stosur is playing singles in Strasbourg on a wild card even though she had retired from singles after the AO.
|
By:
I can't hate on Iga because she seems super cool, but even Barty had more interesting matches than this
|
By:
She should have given the first set to Sabalenka just out of courtesy and play a real match from there
