first meeting in 5 years, amazing, neither are at their best so Murray has a chance, wonder if he'll play Rome and/or RG now.
their first ever meeting was in the same round 16 years ago in 2006, albeit on a hard court. I was a poor hungry student back in those days, with stacks of 55pence tinned Mackerel in tomato sauce from Tesco's keeping me going, with an avocado on the desk I couldn't quite work out how to open, you had to let them ripen
now I'll shall be watching on my cinema sized tv by the pool now the weather's warming up

I remember watching them play the Cincinnati final in 2008 and there was a moment when they were standing together after Muzz won that you could see them taking on board that these two kids that had come through juniors and lnew each others parents etc were both about to take off to the next level in parallel. And of course for years after that the 'Big 4' was spoken about before Andy's path took a different turn to the other 3.
Murray is clearly playing better than he has for a while, (well.. is that the Lendl effect or a placebo effect? (no less valid!)) I watched Novak at his press conference this week talking about feeling inspired by Andy's level rising after all Muzz has been through. He seemed really quite affected by it really.

he pulled out through shock and flew back to London to find where these 55pence tins of Mackerel are at, have you seen the price of fish these days?
