From reading the article it seems he fully deserves it

Problem is he's all over a lot of classic commentaries.
That line when Murray's about to win Wimbledon in front of David Cameron and then Tiger Tim says 'he won Olympic gold with an ace' and Becker dramatically answers 'Any point will do' is ruined forever

Tbf I realise that's a first world problem that won't be foremost in Becker's mind right now

prison seems harsh, broke, reputational damage, loss of income, humiliated, what's the point in using tax payers money just to feed him porridge for 2 years, does nobody any good, suppose he'll just have to serve it out.

Agree Mes. Think there must be a better way of dealing with people who aren’t a physical threat to others than banging them up. No doubt his forthcoming redemption book will make him a coin. I think a small custodial sentence would have been appropriate with the rest suspended. It’s important that he’s treated no differently from anyone else committing that sort of crime. On the basis that the woman drunk driver who killed her two kids got 4 years, the sentencing does seem a bit harsh. Seems a lovely guy, but thick as and doesn’t look able to keep his pecker in his trousers. Mind you, you could say that of the PM.
