Tbh they should have been walking on a proper fall even without Moscow. There was long the known fact that all the events in China aren't happening, so they should have been prepared, Moscow is just 1 tournament, WTA need to do better putting on tournaments full stop.

There's always a chance with Stuttgart you get a qualifier, qualifying is always really weak that week as it's Fed Cup weekend the week before so most players can't play qualifying.

It's a shame you never got that job with WTA. I could have pitched my latest idea and you could have passed it on to Steve Simon.

Tried to make a new account with that big green/white swedish bookmaker to see if their streams are faster than nando's. Not only do they use Schufa (the company with the monopoly on credit scoring individuals in Germany) to "verify my identity", but also prompt me to log into my online banking account directly during registration. I mean....what? Not gonna do that, Björn.

I already had an account with them some while ago, but seems it was deleted and not transferred to their German website.

The ATP certainly isn't backing away from China - in fact, we're told the board approved a move in Miami to expand the Shanghai event with a Wednesday start and the final Sunday week.
As a result, the Beijing 500 will have a Thursday start and a Wednesday final.

I had read previously how people had problems with their Schufa verification at bookmakers. I'm a bit out of the loop with creating accounts. It's an extremely uncomfortable thought that your gambling account creation gets submitted to the credit rating monopolist.

Charleston Final should be a cracker. Bencic looks like a player whose time has come, everything is just clicking into shape for her and has to be a strong candidate for a slam soon.
But Ons' refusal to get beaten yesterday was fantastic. Think they'll probably both take a set, winner tough to call?

I had three days without any retirements but of course Basilashvili had to ruin the streak. Sulk retirement at 0-2, 0-40 down in set 2, claiming breathing issues No trainer, Amanda style tap.
