 That's not too common. Probably happened before, but my rotting brain doesn't remember such a big main draw at that level anywhere else. |

48 players main draw with a ton of byes, including a bye vs. bye match up. Since the winner of bye vs bye meets Melnikova, who already has a bye in the first round, Melnikova meets bye in the first two rounds.

There was a 48 player ITF W25 just last week.
Stupid rotten brain, although 32 player main draws without any byes are far more common. |

I went to bed after the Wang backs disappeared. I did put in another evens back which did get matched eventually, but had I stayed up, or perhaps but in backs at shorter odds, I could have backed her all the way down to 1.69 before market realized something was up.

No, I took what caramba very kindly didn't sweep up while he did his research. Then looked if more offers were coming or if anything additional was getting matched for another hour or so, but neither happened. Was completely dry with someone trying to get matched at 1.97 and above (which never got matched while I looked) and the highest offer 1.05 iirc. Not a € got matched while a watched. Didn't leave anything up unlike caramba, which I kinda rue now that I know more big odds ended up getting matched, but I already kind of felt dirty the moment I came in and swept a few hundreds that might have otherwise been caramba's. Caramba found it and he's primarily the one deserving it.
