Good day, Mates and Madettes!
I am glad to interest you in a new edition of the long-running tennis subforum tradition.
Pick a player each day. If your player wins, you advance to the next day and get to pick again. At the end, glory, lots of forum cred and an entry into the competition's hall of fame (if anyone can be arsed with updating it) awaits the ultimate winner. If your player loses, you are out and eternal shame shall fall upon on. Each player can only be chosen once, so maybe don't pick your favoured finalists on the first two days. If the first set was completed and your player retires, it counts as a loss. If your pick withdraws or retires before the first set is completed, you can pick from another match that hasn't been started yet. So retirement rules are basically the same as on the Betfair Exchange.
If matches are rescheduled due to rain, you are not allowed to pick it on the new day (e.g if Lorenzi-Nakashima is originally scheduled for day 1, but it rains and doesn't start on day 1, starts on day 2 instead...you are not allowed to pick it for day 2. You are however of course allowed to use it as your day 1 pick). If it comes to such a scenario, I will try to point out which matches you are not allowed to pick on the day.
The picks continue every day until only one person is left, everyone has been eliminated, or the tournament has finished.
Picks don't have to be made before all play starts for the day, but it naturally should be made before the match that your pick
Rule change: As you might or might not remember, during the US Open edition I asked about the continued use or change of the tiebreaking rule that was used throughout the 2021 suicide tennis season. By popular demand, the tiebreaker rule is henceforth eradicated without replacement. Only the survived days count. If multiple people reach the same day, they will share the same spot in the final standings.

Sure. They could still pick day 1 too, given most the matches are to play.

Uhm.........no.
TheGoddess, you have to make a new pick for day 1 from the matches that have not yet started at the time of your new pick. A lifeline if you can't make it to a computer in time to pick anew: I will automatically enter the favourite of the woman's match that has the latest start on day 1 - which should likely be Badosa from her match against Tomljanovic. I hope you are able to submit your own new pick though.

Four hours, about twelve spectators, three favourites turned over. But well done fellow winners.
It was carnage. It were three different favourites that were picked too, not just one that killed everyone.
