This is a bit short notice. But we're doing a comp for the Australian Open qualifying called "Tennis Hipster Challenge", idea is stolen from Twitter.
Predict the 16 players to make it through qualifying.
1 pt if you pick the highest seed in the section and he/she makes it, 1.25 pt if you pick someone who isn't the highest seed and he/she makes it.

if someone wants to just predict men's or just women's, that works. You don't have to do both.

Deadline is 11 pm tonight.

thanks. I'm not making any longterm commitments, (let's take it one tournament at a time), but I did enjoy this. And congrats on the WTA win.

When I saw the 'big girls tennis' post I knew our winding, bomb-strewn road had become fractured again.
A quick message before the place gets snowed under with AO stuff .
When you had said 'anything goes' I maaaaaay have got a bit carried away with that permission.
I would (but can't) roll that back. But I would say this. Such competitive hijinx is borne not from disrespect
but because I (and many) perceive you as a 'high water mark'. ie it means something!
Will attempt to order in some better road-mending equipment. Peace and love! (part2)
