Speaking of Bundesliga: The lone win in Yannick Maden's latest 19 matches came in Bundesliga in July. Excluding Bundesliga, he has lost 16 consecutive matches. Last win was in the first round of RG qualies in May.

There are a lot of organizations who can afford to do something like this a lot more than the WTA can ……. Respect. Doing the right thing is a lot easier when there aren’t associated costs. I continue to be proud to be in the tennis orbit #PengShuai

hopefully all the Chinese tournaments can be rescheduled for summer and we can double the length of the grass court season
will be interesting to see if WTA does Japan and South Korea next year. Obviously they will eventually, but both those countries are very cautious when it comes to covid.
Sept/Oct could be brutal for us if there's some sort of Asian swing (ATP all of Asia, WTA Asia minus China) and also events held elsewhere (Europe?) at the same time.

From 2023 Cincy and Montreal will likely be 12 day events each. Might have to cancel the grass season altogether if they still want any other hard court tournaments to take place before the US Open.

convert RG to a grass tournament and have a super long grass court season. obv would need to convert Madrid to fast grass and Rome to slow/medium grass also

Someone on MTF is claiming that Hyeon will give the ATP tour another go next season despite his severely broken down body.
A Korean insider recently told me the story. He started in tennis from a not wealthy but actually poor family. He trained and worked his a55 off, to the extent that he overtrained. He did not have the wealth to afford a full team, coach physio to properly take care of his body through all the excessively hard training he did. Eventually the body broke down and it keeps breaking down. The word is he is preparing to make aother push next year. Very talented player.
