It would be interesting to compare the results vs expected results for French players at Roland Garros and other tournaments in France. I feel the crowd helps them to overperform in "other tournaments". They also have the crowd support at Roland Garros, but the aura of RG and expectations bring them down there and they underperform.

Tallon Griekspoor can run his challenger winning streak to 20 tomorrow and make it four tournament wins in four tries, on two different surfaces. All he will have to do is beat a really old guy who is part-time tennis player, part-time tournament director.

Have seen two attempts on underhand serves in Linz qualies so far. One that was a huge, high disaster by Eva Lys yesterday that was easily put away by Bogdan, and one by Kucova that failed to land in the service zone.

As I just learned on MTF, and verified by having a look at the excellent ATP Challenger Tour Media Guide (linked below), Griekspoor today became the all-time leader for most challenger tour titles in a season. He has won seven now. With there still a few weeks to go, I wouldn't rule out Bonzi, who sits at six this season, catching him.

It's a bit weird.

When we all had mushy, washed out TV pictures we had all sorts of colours in regards to hard court colours. When folks would have actually needed colour contrast optimization (i.e yellow ball, blue court), we didn't have them.

Now we all have Ultra 4K HDR OLED TVs and about 95% of hard courts must be blue even though now we would be able to see the ball on all sorts of colours.

edy stopped following Zverev's career once he became a mainstay on the main tour imo.

Novak never forgave him for beating him in that USO semi.

M15 is the lowest level of ITF/ATP sanctioned professional tournament tennis.

For pro tennis lower than yet that you'd have to go to Swedish club tennis or something like that.....if Swedish club tennis is played by professionals that is.

Either way, you wondered the other day if Ons was pranking around with her sling: She has now withdrawn as a YEC alternate.
