Yes, that`s true. My favourite moments were when she won a point or a game and waved with her arms to make the crowd to cheer her up and the crowd voice level went up from 1 to 1.1 only, if you know what I mean. Really hard to support her in any way but that`s just my biased opinion.

If they are only allowing vaccinated players in, and the normal times between infection and vaccination are respected, then there shouldn't be enough time for her to acquire vaccination status in time for the AO I think.

Has there been any indication it would be that strict? USO had a as long as you have taken your 1st shot, you're fine, rule for fans I think.

They shouldn't be able to announce such a ruling now imo. Fair enough if they wanted to have that for Australian Open, but if so it should have least given players the chance and time to react accordingly. I don't think many players are antivaxx enough to miss a Slam over it.

It's a government decision, so they very much can announce it irrespective of what it means for the AO.

Maybe Robredo should have retired silently. He didn't managed to get himself even one game point today. The only game he won was a break (the only game in which he got either game or break point out of the 13 games played).
