I'd be amazed if Medvedev doesn't win more grand slams. Djokovic really is only player even meant to be close to him on hard courts, and he's 34, while Medvedev is 25.

Pretty sure he's been living in the US for ages. In Carlsbad of all places.

laver has been living in california since he retired. guy will live till hes 100.
I read his wife died 9 years ago. That often leads to the other person dying, but good to see him still in good health

I get the feeling Barty face of the WTA era is coming to an end
She's never really been tbf, just the best player at the moment. Osaka has been the face lately, with Serena having been away so much. With those two currently out, there's no one star to put all your eggs in best in a basket with, so they're kind of doing the WWE thing, pushing the brand. Gauff they have hopes for. I think Garbine would be great as the face of WTA, but she doesn't have the results to back it up so that wouldn't really work. Barty has the results, but not the starpower to carry the brand.
Biggest faces of the WTA right now are Osaka, Barty, Raducanu, Serena and Gauff. I'd say most casuals know all these now
