If she gets too playful, sure, but I think she's been smart so far. Played some points with very intelligent slices. Her only really bad shot so far was the drop shot attempt that was far too long and sailed wide 5 meteres as well.

I'm been warming up to Jabeur's play lately. But she plays with so much finesse that when things go wrong it looks so ugly.

withdrawal from Cincy feels imminent, but toe should be good for USO.

She's a very good addition to the tour, even if sometimes she lacks seriousness/effort on a bad day.

In the next days, @rogerfederer will meet with his team and his doctor. Hasn’t started practice yet. My guess: He’ll skip the @usopen, try to take part in the @LaverCup (play doubles) and end the season early. Then try to build up for the @AustralianOpen, if his knee permits it.

Pliskova is now 27-15 for the year, incl. 0-4 against Pegula and 0-3 against Giorgi, the two have accounted for almost half her 2021 losses.
Makes sense that this kind of run would happen for Giorgi, her peak is incredible and she simply takes the racket away from the opponent.
