sometimes these markets still make me wonder. Anderson got backed in about 20 ticks and lost in 2.
Most of the time it's just guessing and others following along thinking it's shrewd money.
never seen the name Bektas before so I figured she was some teenager WC but I see that she's 28.

Another weird drift. Nakashima drifting out despite being in final in Atlanta. Popyrin 2 wins in last 10 getting support - anyone want to tell me where that confidence comes from?
Nakashima has played lots of tennis lately making finals 2 weeks in a row. Market probably thinks he's knackered. But of course this was all known when market was put up. But to me that's where the uncertainty comes in for this match-up.

what's the point of San Jose? Really good field, but attendance looks low again. Think it's better for US cities to go for mug events that attracts lots of Americans over WTA 500's.

I'm 1-9 or so in retirements goign against me over the past 3 weeks. Would have been 0-10 if I hadn't AZ switched on Nishioka the other night. Lesia retirement would have been decent win but of course she retired before 1st set was completed. And 75% of these I had gone in on before any sign of injurt, so mostly bad luck, but then there was some muggery like getting involved with Paire who's always just one negative thought away from retiring.

Another nice win for Nakashima - no sign of burnout yet.
US has some promising youngsters in Nakashima, Korda and Brooksby. Let's hope they can continue to develop and not stagnate like Taylor Fritz.
Incredible effort from Korda to lose that set a double break up at 5-2.

why would anyone pay that? I can see someone pay absurd money on the chance of seeing Serena complete the Grand Slam, because that's history, but Rafa winning Washington means nothing. If you wanna see him play, just buy tickets for one of his early rounds.

generally buy tickets for Tuesday/Wednesday at tournaments imo
