A jolly good day people, peopledettes and peopleits,
everyone's favourite slam on the holy brown grass of Wimbledon is right around the corner, so it's time for another edition for our popular suicide competition.
I hope most of you will know the rules already, but here they are just to make sure:
Pick a player each day. If your player wins, you advance to the next day and get to pick again. At the end, glory, lots of forum cred and an entry into the competition's hall of fame (if anyone can be arsed with updating it) awaits the ultimate winner. If your player loses, you are out and eternal shame shall fall upon on. Each player can only be chosen once, so maybe don't pick your favoured finalists on the first two days. If the first set was completed and your player retires, it counts as a loss. If your pick withdraws or retires before the first set is completed, you can pick from another match that hasn't been started yet. So retirement rules are basically the same as on the Betfair Exchange.
If matches are rescheduled due to rain, you are not allowed to pick it on the new day (e.g if Lorenzi-Nakashima is originally scheduled for day 1, but it rains and doesn't start on day 1, starts on day 2 instead...you are not allowed to pick it for day 2. You are however of course allowed to use it as your day 1 pick). If it comes to such a scenario, I will try to point out which matches you are not allowed to pick on the day.
The picks continue every day until either only one person is left, or the tournament has finished.
Picks don't have to be made before all play starts for the day, but it naturally should be made before the match that your pick
Final ranking is determined by day reached (1st, most important criteria) and then average odds of winnings picks (odds taken from tennisexploter.com) to break any eventual ties if multiple people reached the same day.
I hope that covers everything. If there are any additional questions, feel free to ask.

I hate to do this, but as edy reminded us with his Euro football tipping competition, business is business so it's Denis Shapovalov for me today.
Good news is that I'll be delighted if the knight proves me wrong.

Grantcking never won these comps during all his years on this phorum, and this has been running for almost 10 years. Now banned from the phorum, he's somehow in the final 2 of both comps! Something shady going on, imo edy is in these comps with double entries, one under the edy name and one as "Grantcking". Well done Hank and Angoose on your wins here.

This competition has the most stringent integrity standards one could possibly imagine. If the accusations are not withdrawn, I will have to consider taking legal steps.

We have a winner! Congratulations to myself....*cough*...I mean "GRANTCKING" for this performance and "his" first ever title in this competition series.
I even still have the chance to go for the double in the women's edition. A feat so rare it was last achieved at RG2021 by n88uk.
Well done to the others too! Often we see slaughter in the early rounds. Not so this year.
